how to use vertical machining centers

CNC machining center is the best combination of high efficiency, high speed, automation technology and numerical control technology, which is the perfect combination of high performance and economy.

The machining center is a CNC machine tool that has a tool magazine and an automatic tool change function to perform multi-step machining on the workpiece once. The machining center is a highly mechatronic product. After the workpiece is clamped, the CNC system can control the machine tool to automatically select and replace tools according to different processes, automatically set the tool, automatically change the spindle speed, feed amount, etc., and can continuously complete drilling, boring, Milling, reaming, tapping and other processes. Therefore, the workpiece clamping time, the auxiliary process time such as measurement and machine tool adjustment are greatly reduced, and the parts with complicated processing shape, high precision requirement, and frequent replacement of parts have good economic effects.

Machining centers are usually classified into horizontal, vertical and universal machining centers based on the relative positions of the main shaft and the table.

(1) Horizontal machining center: It refers to the machining center where the spindle axis and the worktable are arranged in parallel, which is mainly suitable for processing box-type parts.

(2) Vertical Machining Center: It refers to the machining center that is perpendicular to the spindle axis and the worktable. It is mainly used for processing complex parts such as plates, discs, molds and small shells.

(3) Universal machining center (also known as multi-axis linkage type machining center): It refers to the machining center that can control the linkage change by processing the angle between the spindle axis and the rotary axis of the table to complete the complex space surface machining. It is suitable for the machining of workpieces such as impeller rotors, molds and cutting tools with complex space surfaces.
